Quezon Island Adventure- Borawan, Kwebang Lampas and Kamay ni Hesus

My TL and I planned to have a vacation, just the two us at Borawan, but since my other office mate, will be going there at the same date we decided to come along. The more the merrier, right!

May 25, 2013, the greatest Quezon escapade started. We were ten excited backpackers. My seatmate Ren, the piglets, Weng, Pam and Reena, the love birds, Byron and Pearl, the Jelly fish killer, Aran, the sexy Jiezel and the A.K.A playboy model, Pia.

Pagbilao is a progressive Town located in the  province of  Quezon. It can  be easily access by private or public transportation. It is bounded on the Northeast of the Municipality of Tayabas, northeast by Atimonan, Southeast by Padre Burgos and southwest by the city of Lucena.

From Cubao, we rode the bus bound to Lucena Grand Terminal at around 10:30 am, we reached Lucena Grand terminal by 2:30 pm. The fare costs P218.00 for Lucena Lines. It has been a 5 hour travel, hurray!!
Before we go to  Kwebang Lampas, we had our late lunch at Chowking.

We decided to rent  a  Jeep from Lucena Terminal to Pagbilao to ease the trip, huggle a little and we agreed at P1,000.00 . We asked the driver to make a quick stop at the market so we could buy our food. Travel time from Lucena Grand Terminal to Pagbilao is almost 1 hour, you will know if you are nearing Kwebang lampas, you will see Pagbilao Power Station, located in Ibabang Polo.

The Jeepney driver dropped us at Ibabang Polo and from there we rode a boat to reach the other side  of the beach. We paid the boatman P10.00 for the ride and it took us just 5 mins to reach the other side.
Once your there, you just need to do a side trek, 10 minute trek and you will reach the gate to Kwebang Lampas.

White Rock formation will welcome you before you start the trek. White sand and emerald green water once you reach Kwebang Lampas.

Before we enter the gate of Kwebang Lampas, the caretaker collected the fee P75.00 for overnight fee. Aling Anita, the caretaker is very masungit. Buti pa yung mga lalaki na kasama nila accomodating.

We had grilled fish for dinner bangus and tilapia and hotdog, then adobo cooked by Pam.

take turns sa pag ihaw, maka kain lang, hehe

After dinner, others went to sleep and others took  time to dip and enjoy the cold water.
We were able to see the sunset and since it is low tide, we get to go inside the cave.
Unfortunately, we were not informed that there are lot of Jelly fish in the morning. I got stung a little but my two friends Aran and Reena were bitten badly..good thing they were not poisoned.

After breakfast, we rent a boat  that could bring us to the other island, Dampalitan and Borawan. We paid P1250.00 for the rent.

We only stayed in Dampalitan for just 10 minutes since there were no shade or cottage to stay at.
Then the last island we checked was Borawan. It looked like small Boracay. Since we are afraid to be stung by jelly fish again, we just played beach volley.

After the island hopping, the boatmen brought us to the Aplaya where we ate our lunch and bathed. We paid P5. 00 per pale of water.

Indeed, the trip was great and exciting! If given a chance again, I would love to stay in Kwebang Lampas again. I just hope, there are no jelly fish anymore :)

Since we are in Quezon already, we decided to visit Kamay ni Hesus.. Were were not able to climb the hundred steps stairs since it is raining.

But its a good time to say a prayer and thank God for the great adventure we had :)
